Pied butterfly bat, Badger bat
The pied butterfly bat (Glauconycteris superba ), also known as the pied bat or badger bat, is a rare species of vesper bat in the family Vespertilionidae.
The distinctive pied bat partly resembles a bee, with light yellow stripes and blotches on its body, the stripes being primarily on its back.
It is found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and South Sudan.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
