The greater sulphur-crested cockatoo (Cacatua galerita galerita ) is the nominate subspecies of the sulphur-crested cockatoo. It is native to eastern Australia from Cape York to Tasmania, and has been introduced to places like Indonesia, and the Palau Islands.
